Why a Short Sleeve Overshirt?
A short-sleeve overshirt adds insulation around the torso without placing another full sleeve between your base layer and jacket. That makes the format particularly useful when several layers would otherwise begin to feel bulky around the arms and elbows.
The Kim can sit over a long-sleeve tee or crewneck, leaving the layer underneath visible below its wide short sleeves. When temperatures drop further, wear it beneath a jacket and use it much like a removable liner shirt. During milder autumn weather, it can also go directly over a tee.
What Is PrimaLoft?
PrimaLoft is a branded synthetic insulation made using very fine fibers designed to provide warmth without excessive weight. Unlike natural down, PrimaLoft insulation is engineered to keep insulating when exposed to moisture. The Kim uses genuine PrimaLoft insulation instead of unspecified polyester wadding, giving the fill a clearly identified technical specification.
How Warm Is It?
The Kim is a light insulating layer, not a winter coat. Its PrimaLoft fill adds warmth around the torso while keeping the profile thin enough to layer under another layer. In milder weather, wear it over a tee. In colder conditions, treat it as a mid-layer beneath outerwear.
How Do I Layer It?
Wear the Kim over a heavyweight crewneck so the longer sleeves remain visible, or use it beneath the Blun zip-up work jacket as an insulated liner. For lighter layering, wear it over a long-sleeve tee and leave the snap-button placket open or closed depending on the temperature.
Does It Have a Collar?
No. The Kim has a collarless neckline with a round shape finished in sand-beige taped binding. Removing the traditional overshirt collar gives it more of a military-liner profile and lets the neckline sit flatter under collared jackets.
How Does the Kim Fit?
The Kim has a relaxed boxy silhouette with broad short sleeves and room underneath for another garment. It is meant for layering, so expect more room than you would get from a standard shirt in the same size. Check the measurement table above before sizing down for a closer fit.
How Do I Wash a Quilted Shirt?
Fasten the snaps before washing and use a cold, gentle cycle without bleach. Avoid excessive heat when drying, as high temperatures can affect both the technical shell and contrast trim. What Are the Shipping and Return Terms?
